See Cherry Run Camp's Purpose

Cherry Run Camp will celebrate 148 Years at the 2010 encampment!
[July 31 through August 8, 2010]

Hello and welcome to the main lobby area of Cherry Run Camp web site. You will notice as you move further down in this area that doors have been installed which will lead you into certain areas of Cherry Run Camp. Clicking on a door will take you into the area which is identified by the name over the door. But just above the doors is a small picture which is a link to Cherry Run Reflections, an area where you can read some comments on different subjects related to our Christian faith and service to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Cherry Run Camp - July 31 - August 8, 2010

NOTE: Information on the 2010 camp session will be posted as soon as details become available. In the meantime the information on the 2009 session will remain in place here for the benefit of informing new visitors about the camp. Much of the information does remain the same from year to year.

Good News! It's all available now -- everything you wanted to know about the 2009 camp session at Cherry Run for the whole family -- just go to:

Cherry Run Camp - 2009

Here is the information on speakers with pictures, camp registration information, schedules, and the new brochure is available for downloading in .pdf format -- this requires Adobe Reader, which most systems now have. Each part of the brochure is described in detail, so you can pick and choose if you so desire. Enjoy!

NOTICE: Rates were increased for the first time in years as of the 2007 session of the camp -- please note the changes in registration information, but also note how you can avoid a penalty fee by getting your registration in early. Also, take time to read the rules and regulations -- there are some rules in place which all persons are expected to observe for the well being of the camp environment and good fellowship for all persons of all ages who are a part of the camp.

Because of problems of different kinds related to the Guestbook, changes have been made -- you can still leave a message, but it's different than before -- if you would like to check out the "new look" as explained by Theo, go to Cherry Run Guestbook Substitute!

Habitat for Cherry Run Camp Work Sessions!
Latest schedule is:

  • Dates will be posted as soon as made available or inquiries can be made by calling either Dave Hrisak or Cooky Seth.

  • Dave Hrisak (229-3558) and Cooky Seth (412-496-0243) can be reached at their cell phones for any questions relating to the scheduling of work days or weeks and what might be planned. You can also call the Cherry Run Camp phone # at 814-473-3470.

See Cherry Run Camp Needs and Deeds! -- see for yourself what needs exist and what deeds have already been done! One extremely urgent need is the total renovation of the sewerage treatment plant. This will involve a major expense. Your financial help is needed for this and other ongoing expenses of the camp.

Harry the Hammer here -- we've done some work over in the 60's area -- additional photos from the 60's have been posted plus a few from 1958 -- you can view them now at Memories from the 60's

Are you familiar with the Cherry Run Camp Rules and Regulations? Once in a blue moon or maybe a little more often a problem arises with a person pleading ignorance in regard to the rules -- this makes for an unpleasant camp experience not only for the person violating the rules, but for others as well -- don't be in the dark on this -- review them carefully at Cherry Run Camp Rules and Regulations -- if there are questions please contact cdharriger@hotmail.com.
