Hey, good to see you again! Are you ready for Tour #Three here at Cherry Run Camp? In some ways, this one will be a little different than the first two. Oh, we'll look a bit more at some areas of the camp, and then I want to tell you about some mysterious happenings that go on here from time to time!

Do you remember some years ago there was a popular song entitled, "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree?" Well if the one below had been selected, it would take a few feet of ribbon to go around this specimen which has been around for a long, long time! It's an experience just to gaze up through its branches -- an object lesson for faith -- it all started with a tiny acorn! Faith can seem to be small, but has potential to become great through growth in our walk with Jesus Christ.

Once in a while things get interesting at Cherry Run and a substance known as H2O is very liberally dispersed! It always happens on Mission Day at Cherry Run, and for a price you can launch a water filled balloon or pay more and get a bucket full to throw at selected persons such as counselors, the District Superintendent, and staff persons! Notice a batch of the stuff is on its way to the targets!

Now we are back at the main parking area just above the athletic field. Once the camp gets underway, there are a lot of vehicles parked here. There is an area just next to the tabernacle on the road side for those who have physical limitations to park, and it is just a few feet to get to the tabernacle from there.

But once in a while in the main parking area there seems to be great liberty (and much abuse) taken with a very familiar substance:

See what I mean? When this photo was originally released it had a caption which read, "Only the evangelists are suspects in this crime!" But it was later determined that the evangelists were sound asleep in their beds when this outrageous event happened!

Oh, no! Even the boys' dorms were victimized in this crime wave! Who would ever do such a thing to our well behaved and innocent residents of these dorms?

Ah, ha! Are these the perpetrators, or is this merely an attempt to duplicate the old Egyptian practice of preparing mummies for long term storage?
