Hello again! Yes, it's true! Just as you are likely to find about anywhere you go, there are some rules and regulations at Cherry Run Camp. These are for the purpose of maintaining order and making it possible for all persons of all ages to have a great and blessed camping experience. Please read them over carefully. In signing the registration form each person agrees to abide by the camp rules and regulations. Occasionally, we have had persons claim they did not know anything about the rules -- now you wouldn't do anything like that would you?

Rules and Regulations of Cherry Run Camp

It would be impossible to have a good camp without some rules and regulations. With most people there is no need for some of them because of a sincere desire to honor the Lord Jesus, and to be considerate of others. Some, however, are needed as a guide in order to know what to do or not to do.

    l. Respect shall be shown toward those in worship services. They shall not be disturbed by talking or whispering, making unnecessary noise, or driving cars nearby.

    2. The use of tobacco, alcoholic beverages, card playing, gambling, and profanity is prohibited.

    3. Pets are not allowed on the grounds.

    4. CD players, radios and MP 3 players are not permitted on the grounds. Personal audio and visual equipment can be used for instrumental purposes and talent show only.

    5. Keys to all youths' cars to be checked in to Security Officer.

    6. Curfew bell means quiet in the cottage, hotel, dormitory, or camping rooms. Offender's penalties - extra work projects the following day.

    7. All lettered and word shirts must be approved before they are worn at camp.

    8. All youth will participate in the youth work program taking turns with duties around the camp.

    9. For your safety and the safety of others, the use of skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc. is prohibited on Cherry Run Camp property.

GIRLS: All girls must wear dresses or dress jeans to the evening meals and evening services. No midriffs or halters or spandex shorts are permitted. Also going barefoot is not allowed. Fingertip-length shorts allowable for morning classes and morning worship services and for recreation.

BOYS: All boys must wear slacks or dress jeans for evening meals and evening services. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Muscle shirts (tank tops) may be worn for recreation only. Fingertip-length shorts may be worn for morning classes, morning worship services, and for recreation. Spandex shorts are not permitted.

Cherry Run is dedicated to the cause of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His Spirit delights to be there. Any conduct that would grieve Him is out of place and is a poor witness to others. Let's be conscious of who we are and where we are.
