Memories 2003

Here are a few pictures from the 2003 camp session -- Sammy Snail still insists that he moves faster than cdh when it comes to getting the pics posted of past camp sessions!

Make sure you spend some time here during the Cherry Run Camp session --
The Prayer Room is a place where one can get alone with God.
Everyone hears the Cherry Run bell many times a day!

On left, the bell looks kind of funny -- is that its normal position?
Ooops! Tim Bowser is learning that the bell sometimes pours out blessings!

![]()

After the bell rings, sometimes people seem to just disappear --
but then again, they come from everywhere when it is time to eat!

![]()

Sometimes a flying object ends up on a roof and has to be retrieved!
The Old Hotel is a popular gathering place, especially when the snack bar is open!

![]()

And just behind the Old Hotel is the invading swamp -- it's been advancing year by year!
Uh, uh! Don't remove one cat tail -- the DER will hang you from one of those dead trees!

As if the invading swamp isn't enough, we still have the Tissue Monster
attacking at night just when we least expect him and have our guard down!

![]()

Volleyball is a very popular game during the recreation period!

![]()

First, some instructions about what is going to happen!
Then, after that things will happen rather quickly!

One highlight of camp -- Mission Marathon and water balloons pitched at the staff!
Ooops! Looks like the staff members have some weapons for defense against those balloons!

On left, activity class in lounge area of the Old Hotel.
On right, activity class on ground level of Reitz/Karns dormitory.

Camp area of Cherry Run is always used every year --
as you can see, they come in all sizes, shapes, and colors --
from monster size to a rather small pop-up tent size on wheels!

Sorry, ladies -- no room on this vehicle for you to ride. But see
the guy below -- he'll "open" up a car for you to use -- just pick one!

OK, remember this guy in the blue shirt from back in 2002?
Caught in the act of breaking and entering -- in broad daylight?
Well, guess what? He's back and look at what he's doing!

He's teaching a class -- "Entering Locked Cars 101"
Notice how closely his students are following every move!
